A young male Brush Tailed Rock Wallaby at Healesville Zoo may be the future of his species. They're under threat in the wild so he's released from Healesville Sanctuary to help out. When he successfully breeds, the zoo must find surrogate mothers to help out. A tiny 14 day old joey is carefully swapped from one pouch to another in an amazing, delicate procedure. Vets only have one chance.
Banjo the Zebra Stallion's at Werribee Open Range Zoo hooves are growing unevenly and need to trimmed. But first, vets need to catch him.
Satia the Sumatran Tiger has never successfully raised cubs before. Will she be successful this time?
At just 6 weeks old these Sumatran tiger cubs have a big day ahead of them. It is there first time away from mum for their first pet check.. Has she done a good job raising them having been unsuccessful in the past?
Two Gannets have arrived at Taronga Wildlife Hospital, both suffering infections and not able to fly. Both are checked out by vets but both may not be able to be released back to the wild.
